use create options to generate routes, corridors and sites now you are at the create options stage this is where we tell optioneer to kick off the production of results based on everything we told the software in the docid\ uon1ceip4jc8s6sdrysfs and docid 973cyqnrcvodbtxxtganv stages after this stage comes docid\ qu3ipnfynkxrgpy1nyjbd πwhat are optioneer's "modes"? optioneer has two key modes for producing results generation and evaluation generation mode is used to produce corridors, routes, and sites given start and end points, or a search area evaluation mode allows for the assessment an existing corridor, route, and site π§ "setting up" a case in optioneer π the production of results in optioneer has three key steps and is initiated by going to the create options window selecting points or areas of interest if you're generating routes or corridors, you'll need to select the points you want to connect select a line or several if you want to evaluate specific options if it's sites you are after, just pick the search area choosing your configuration these are defined in the parameters page and tell optioneer how to search for, and evaluate, options based on the selected inputs naming your result name your result, give it a description and then let optioneer take care of the rest π€ if you do not have the create options window available in the toolbar along the top of optioneer, this may be because you do not have suitable rights to run a case ask your project admin (see team management) to give you 'execute' rights
