the layer properties table in optioneer provides a centralized way to view, manage, and edit layer properties across all layers within a project table controls access the layer properties table from project layers once inside, you can add, remove, and manage properties filter data to identify relevant layers edit properties individually or in bulk group data for better organization export the table as a csv file managing properties click manage properties in the top right corner of the table to open the property management menu add a property β search for and select a property to add it to the table remove a property β deselect a property to remove it from the table add a new property β use + add new property to create a new property for data layers clear all properties β use the clear option to remove all displayed properties from the current table view filtering properties select the filter icon to the right of any column header to open the filtering menu use conditional statements and operators to refine which layers are displayed editing layer properties layer properties can be updated at any point during a project single edit β click any cell to edit an individual property bulk edit β select multiple layers, then use actions > edit or actions > delete to update or remove a property across all selected layers at once this is especially useful when updating shared properties across multiple configurations note some default properties, such as dataset, cannot be edited this ensures a single source of truth across the project grouping layer properties use the group by feature to categorize and sort layers by their parent dataset or by any layer property note a property must be visible in the table before it can be used for grouping use manage properties to add the relevant column first exporting the layer properties table select export in the top right corner to download the table as a csv file only the currently displayed properties are included in the export top tips maximize the window for better visibility hide columns you don't need for a more focused view use group by to sort layers by name, dataset, or any other layer property use filters to quickly narrow down to relevant layers
