for overhead line asset, there is a distinction between crossing layers at structure locations versus between them generally, the placement of structures is constrained heavily, but the conductors between the structures may be allowed to "span over" certain constraints therefore, the configuration of no go layers for overhead lines can be done in a number of ways structure no go zones the main no go zone configuration refers to areas in which a structure cannot be built conductor no go zones there are additional no go zones that can be configured specifically for the conductors between structures these should be less heavily constrained than the structure no go zones span layers these are layers that are normally no go zones, but are allowed to be "spanned over", as long as the span distance is above a defined minimum distance \[need to double check on this / simplify wording]
