Evaluating Route options
Using manually adjusted results

altering routes manual edits can be made to routes and then evaluated through the algorithm with the linear feature following configuration; any part of a route within a small buffer of a network layer will be considered as following that linear feature the process for altering a route to avoid layers is described below identify the option that you wish to make avoid a certain vector layer and add it to the option selection navigate to the three dot menu for that option in the analyze window, and select ‘extract centreline’ name and add a description for the line and click create this will have created an editable line which can be found at the bottom of the lines tab in the data window find the line you just extracted, click on the three dot menu for this line, and select edit now adjust the red points along the line to avoid the feature when finished, click edit in the edit line box in the top left to save the line all that’s left now is to evaluate that line, navigate to the set up window, add the edited line which should be at the bottom of the lines tab confirm the line, select the following linear features configuration, choose a name and description for the evaluation case, and then click evaluate once the case has finished, you’ll be able to find it and analyse it from the results library you can also evaluate lines drawn or imported that follow closely to roads, and any part of the line within close proximity of a network included linear feature will be considered as following that layer as an optioneer output
